Sound Installation

3 Dot matrix printers, continuous paper, and microcontrollers

Three printers engage with Peter Röhr's text montages at specific hours, aligning their performances with the ringing of the Marktkirche bells in Wiesbaden. Röhr's works, including pieces like GONG and RING, serve as onomatopoeic translations of the bells.

The printers explore the rhythmic structures embedded in Röhr's montages, creating a sonic landscape that recalls the cyclical nature of religious practices such as rosary prayers or mantra recitations. This installation works at the intersection of difference and repetition, maintaining a constant tension between the mechanical and the spiritual
